What do I do if I cannot log in to Google Classroom or one of the sites used for my classwork?

The CISD Technology Department will provide technical help to Parents and Students during the hours of 8 AM - 4 PM Monday through Friday.

Can I print from a Chromebook?

You can plug in a USB to connect to your printer or search for documentation from your printer manufacturer on how to install a wireless printer on a Chromebook.

How do I install an app on a district issued iPad?

We are allowing the installation of apps by parents on district-issued iPads. You will need to sign in with an existing Apple account or create a new one. Please do not link your payment information. We will only be using free apps.

What do I do if my student is sick?

If your student is sick and unable to complete their work from home due to illness, submit a doctor’s note to your campus to have the absence marked as excused. Students who are absent due to documented illness will be given additional days to complete their work according to current Community ISD grading procedures.

What if I do not have access to a device or the internet?

Community ISD is checking out devices. Talk to your campus principal for additional information.
