ADVERTISEMENT FOR SEALED QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGER AT RISK
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT – MULTIPLE PROJECTS, COMMUNITY ISD, NEVADA, TEXAS

The project scope of the CMAR includes but is not limited to miscellaneous capital and infrastructure projects, future bond planning, budgeting and subsequent voter approved bond projects. This project is in Nevada, Texas for the Community Independent School District.

Pursuant to the provisions of the Texas Education Code Section 44.031 and the Texas Government Code Section 2269.251, it is the intention of Community ISD to select a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the noted project. This process to select the Construction Managers at Risk shall be a two-step process and will follow the provisions set forth in the Texas Government Code Section 2269.251. Responses are to include the information requested in this Questionnaire in the sequence and format prescribed.

Upon receipt, the Owner will open and read aloud all Qualification submittals received. Each submittal will then be reviewed, evaluated, and rated to determine the “Best Qualified” for the Owner based upon the published selection criteria. A panel consisting of school personnel, the Owner’s representative, and representatives of the architectural firm will review all qualifications. The Owner will then select two or more firms with whom to interview. After the interviews are complete the firms will be ranked, and negotiations will take place with the firm determined to be best qualified for the District. Final agreement is subject to approval by the Community ISD Board of Trustees.
