Winter Weather Procedure Updated

Our winter weather procedures have been modified, and we wanted to make sure you were aware of the changes.

 

This spring semester we will not be cancelling school when inclement weather prevents students and staff from safely arriving on campus. Instead, students and staff will be transitioned to BravesID for the day, and students will be expected to complete their bell ringers and assignments for their classes that day.

 

Nothing else in our winter weather/severe weather procedures has been changed for the spring semester. We will still make decisions about campus closures by 5 am at the latest, and we will still post those announcements to Fox 4, NBC 5, WFAA 8, and CBS 11, as well as our website, social media, email, and app.
