My name is Michelle Clark; I am the computer teacher here at NeSmith Elementary.

I grew up in Parker, Texas and moved to Lavon in 2003. My husband and I have been married since 2000 and we have a 16 year old son Tyler who is going to be a Junior at Community High School this year.  We also have a 12 year old daughter Ashtyn who is going into the 7th grade at Edge Middle School. I started at NeSmith when it opened in 2008 as the PTO President. When my daughter started kindergarten, I wanted to be able to work, but still have the same schedule as my children. I worked in a pre-k program for a private school in Rockwall my first year. I was lucky to find a position the following year at NeSmith and I have been here ever since. I have worked in PreK/PPCD, in the library and now in the computer lab. As in the library, I have classes ranging from kindergarten through fifth grade. The educational goals I set for my students in computer include teaching them how to better use technology in their daily life, and learn how to be a safe and reasonable digital citizen online. We have fun and learn a lot about technology and I truly believe the kids enjoy themselves in my class.

I am currently expanding my education at WGU Texas.
