Hello! I am Heather Regan and I am teaching Algebra I and Strategic Math this year. This is my first year at Community High School and my 23rd year of teaching. I have taught at public schools, private Christian schools, charter schools, and a DAEP, but I am happy to now be part of the Brave Nation. 

I grew up in Mesquite and graduated from Mesquite High School in 1989. I received my bachelor's degree in Mathematics with a minor in Secondary Education from East Texas State University (now Texas A&M - Commerce) in 1994. I am currently working on my master's degree in Secondary Education at Texas A&M - Commerce. I live in Sunnyvale, where my 2 sons attend high school. Much of my time outside the classroom is spent supporting their extracurricular activities such as football, cross country, soccer, powerlifting, choir, and theatre. My daughter, a Tarleton graduate, lives in Dallas and works for Fidelity Investments. We all enjoy playing tennis and Nertz (card game) whenever possible.  

I am looking forward to a wonderful school year getting to know my students and helping them to be successful in math. My conference period is 8th period from 3:10-4:00 every day. The best way to reach me is by email. Thank you for sharing your kids with me!
