Hey Braves, welcome to the 2021-2022 school year!  I am excited to serve as the Braves Support Counselor at CHS.  Prior to starting my career in counseling, I was a middle school science teacher for 6 years.  I knew that my passion lies in helping students become the best version of themselves and unlocking their full potential, inside or outside of the classroom.  Before coming to the high school, I spent two years at Edge.  I have met some amazing families and students while at Community and am excited to see where this year takes us!

"As human beings, our job in life is to help people realize how rare and valuable each one of us really is, that each of us has something that no one else has- or ever will have- something inside that is unique to all time. It's our job to encourage each other to discover that uniqueness and to provide ways of developing its expression." Fred Rogers
My husband and I have a son, Rhyder, that will start Kindergarten this year and two German Shepherd fur babies (Duke and Kira).  Outside of work I love spending time with my family and friends, live music (especially Texas country), and celebrating/planning all the things from the smallest milestone to the biggest birthdays.  Life is short and every moment should be celebrated!
