Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Aubrey Hatfield
I am Aubrey Hatfield and I will be joining the Brave Nation this year teaching 4th grade ELAR. I am super excited to be apart of the Community family. While this is my first year at MES, I am starting my 13th year in education. I taught 10 years in Mesquite ISD teaching 3rd and 4th grade, and in Dallas ISD for two years teaching 1st and 2nd graders. I received my bachelors degree from Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi and my master's degree from Lamar University. I truly believe every child can learn, and it is my job to create a safe and engaging classroom environment to allow them to reach their full potential.
I was born and raised in a small town in Oklahoma. I was married August 10th of this year and moved to Josephine. My son will be in 3rd grade a McClendon this year as well. We enjoy being outside, riding bikes, and camping in our spare time (whatever that is). I am super excited about this school year and partnering with you for the success of our kiddos.
My conference time is between 8:30-9:30 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Fridays. The best way to contact me is via e-mail. I will respond within 24 hours.
