My name is Hector R. Rodriguez.  I will be teaching fourth grade Spanish Language Arts, Science and Social Studies at McClendon Elementary.

I am looking forward to working with your children this school year.  I will strive to make this school year a positive and rewarding experience

for all students.  

I hold a Bachelor's of Science Degree and Master's Degree in Education from Texas A&M University in College Station.

As an educator for most of my working career I have served as a teacher and school counselor at the elementary and secondary

levels.  I am also proud to have served for eighteen years in the Army National Guard and Naval Reserves.  My wife and I have 

been married for 38 years.  Three of our five children are teachers.  One is a photographer and our youngest is a university student.
