Mr. Chris Mycoskie

Mr. Chris Mycoskie joined CISD as the Social Media Specialist in October 2020. He was promoted to Communications Coordinator in July 2023.

He manages the district's social media accounts and branding while contributing to efforts in graphic design, marketing, videography, photography, and other messaging.

Mycoskie comes to CISD with a vast array of media experience, including as a television broadcaster and collegiate athletics administrator. He still acts as a freelance sports broadcaster for various networks. Assignments during the 2025-26 academic year included play-by-play for SMU Mustangs volleyball, Texas Longhorns baseball, Western Athletic Conference basketball, and several Conference USA championships on ESPN platforms, plus Major League Volleyball on Victory Plus and national outlets. He also serves as a sideline reporter for the CW33 High School Football Showdown in Dallas-Fort Worth and for college football postseason games on Bowl Season Radio nationally. 

Mycoskie spent eight years serving the Southland Conference and its member universities, working at the Frisco-based NCAA Division I league from 2011 to 2019. He began as the Director of Television and Electronic Media, and was later promoted to Assistant Commissioner in 2012, and finally to Associate Commissioner in 2017.

He managed the Southland’s television and streaming operations and played a lead role in social media planning and execution. As part of the external operations team, he also assisted with media relations and marketing.

Mycoskie began his collegiate career at the University of Missouri and received his bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in December 2010. Before completing his undergraduate work, he spent time at several TV and radio stations in on-air roles. Stops included KOMU NBC 8 (Columbia, Missouri), WOI ABC 5 (Des Moines, Iowa), ESPN Radio 103.3 FM (Dallas), KTVE NBC 10 (Monroe, Louisiana), and WGMB FOX 44 (Baton Rouge, Louisiana).

He completed his master’s degree in sport administration from the University of Cincinnati in August 2021.
