CISD Communications

The CISD Communications Department is responsible for promoting awareness and protecting the reputation of the district while cultivating Brave Nation pride and engaged community partnerships.

Duties of the Public Relations Department:

• Public Information and Open Records Requests
• External and Internal News Releases and Media Calls
• District and Campus websites
• District Wide Email Notifications and Newsletters
• Social Media Management
• District Photography and Graphic Design
• Informational Publications such as Brochures, Flyers, Postcards
• External and Internal Messaging Campaigns
• Annual Report/State of the School
• District Level Special Event/Report Publications
• Campus Publicity Support
• District Event Planning
• Teacher of the Year Program
• School Calendar Development and Publication
• Special Observations

Public Information Request

Requests for public information are handled in accordance with the Texas Public Information Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 552.001. All requests for public information should be submitted, in writing, to the Director of Communications. Any person who requests public information has the responsibility to submit in writing by one of the following ways:
