Mrs. Kenda Willingham
Mrs. Kenda Willingham became Community ISD's first Executive Director of Advanced Academics in July 2018. In her role, Mrs. Willingham oversees CISD's Career and Technical Education programs, as well as a district-wide post-secondary readiness initiative.
Mrs. Willingham is currently serving in her 27th year in education. Before taking on her current role, Mrs. Willingham served as the Community High School principal.
Prior to coming to Community ISD, Mrs. Willingham taught at the elementary and middle school levels in Cooper ISD and Garland ISD. She served as campus principal Garland ISD for 13 years and in Chapel Hill ISD for another two years before coming to Community ISD.
She holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education and master's in education administration from Texas A&M University-Commerce.
