OnRamps from the University of Texas
OnRamps empowers high school students to take on the role of a college student in a supportive environment that encourages their growth and future success.
We offer high-quality courses across STEM, Arts, and Humanities, which are designed by The University of Texas at Austin faculty to meet postsecondary standards of quality, depth, and complexity.
- OnRamps offers distance education courses via a dual enrollment model. Students are enrolled in both a high school course, led by a high school teacher, and a distance college course, led by a college instructor of record.
- Each OnRamps high school teacher is solely responsible for evaluating and awarding the student's grade.
- Each college instructor of record—approved by the University's associated academic department for each course—is solely responsible for evaluating and awarding the student's college grade.
- Contingent on the grade received in the college course: students have the opportunity to accept college credit, guaranteed to be transferable to any public institution in the state of Texas.
