Project Inspire
The goal of the Project Inspire Mentor Program is to support students' success in school. Project Inspire mentors are volunteers who are willing to spend 30 minutes once a week to connect and build relationships with one or more students so they feel valued at school, have someone to suppor them in achieving their goals, and cheer them on.
Project Inspire Mentor Requirements
- Meeting with your student once a week for 30 minutes.
- Check in at the front office before each visit to receive the visitor badge that is required to be in the building.
- Must submit and successfully pass a state criminal background check.
Additional Qualifications
- Enjoy connecting with children.
- Comfortable connecting with parents and other adult family members.
- Creative, responsible, organized, flexible, self-motivated.
- Interested in learning about community resources.
- Energetic and engaging.
- Respectful of differences and collaborative in seeking solutions in partnership with students and families.
