Dylan has been working hard to make 1st grade a great experience. Each week he sets a goal for himself to do well in class - listen, follow directions, be respectful and learn. After each day he lets us know how it went and how he can improve. We are so proud of his growth and self-awareness and so excited to watch his learning in action.

Watching Hayden grow this school year has been such a source of pride. She has truly embodied OWNERSHIP by stepping up with maturity, taking pride in everything she creates, and holding herself to a high standard COMMUNITY ISD CAN BE PROUD OF. She hasn’t just met expectation, she has taken total accountability for her actions and is being the best version of herself each day!

I would love to nominate my 1st grader, Hendrix, for demonstrating the true spirit of a Community ISD CODE Keeper.
Hendrix exemplifies Character every day through his genuine kindness, big heart, and the love he shares with his classmates, friends, and teacher, Mrs. Curry. He consistently shows incredible Ownership and Drive by always giving 100% effort, making thoughtful choices, and approaching learning with absolute enthusiasm. His hard work and dedication shine through in his outstanding grades across the board, representing Excellence in everything he undertakes.
We are so proud of the way Hendrix models the CODE values, supports Mrs. Curry's classroom, and brings true Braves pride to school every single day!
