Week 2 - Sandra Dolan - SPED & CTMS - August 10-14

CODE Keeper of the Week for August 10-14: Sandra Dolan

Nomination from Ms. Briawna Johnson, Community Trails Middle School:

"I am truly blessed to work alongside Mrs. Dolan in Life Skills. She strives for excellence in everything she does, but she doesn't do it for herself. Everything she works to improve is always for the benefit of our students.

She is our students' biggest fan and advocate, always making sure that before anything else, they are middle school students first just like everyone else here.

If I can become even a little more like Mrs. Dolan, I know I am becoming a better teacher."

Character

Why are you nominating this person?

MES's 5th Grade Safety Patrol is showing us that sometimes the biggest hearts belong to our kids!

These Braves have been getting to school early to help students out of cars and start their mornings with a friendly face. But what has made me the proudest are the little moments.

They have dried tears, given hugs, and walked some of our littlest Braves into school when they just needed someone beside them to help them feel safe.
Our younger students truly look up to our Safety Patrol, and seeing the hugs they give them each morning is absolutely precious!

Character is how we treat others, especially when they need us most. Our 5th graders are leading by example and showing that being a leader starts with kindness and a caring heart.

Way to go, Safety Patrol! We are so proud of you!
