Passionate
Why are you nominating this person?
I have worked in Mr. Frame's classroom this year alongside him. He is one of the most caring and patient teachers I have seen. He truly prioritizes the children. It seems as though his patien Mr. Frame ce never runs out. I see him most class periods pulling kids who are struggling to try to have one on one. heart to heart with them. There are a lot of children in some of his classes and he takes time to acknowledge them individually and try to have a positive relationship with them. Mr. Frame seems to be very passionate about the kids and about his desire to see them succeed.

She exhibits such a positive attitude and she is passionate about helping grow her students to the best they can be. The energy Danay brings everyday to school is something I look forward to and so many other do. I live how she has brought dress well Wednesday to her class ,to see the students take care of how they dress that day is nice to see. Thank you Danay for choosing Edge Middle School for your first year of teaching and hope for many more.

Why are you nominating this person?
My son attends the Blue Club after school program at NeSmith. He was playing and having fun one day and took his glasses off and we didn’t realize he didn’t have them until we got home. I messaged Mrs. Haynes and she acted swiftly by checking the library, my son’s classroom along with the gym where she knows they had been that day. She found them and I was under the impression he would have to wait until the next day to receive his glasses. He was fully upset because he is virtually blind without them. This would have made his night very difficult and sad. No watching his favorite shows or being able to see people clearly. He began to cry and get very sad. Mrs. Haynes stepped up and went above and beyond and coordinated a meet up spot for me to meet her outside of the school to retrieve his glasses. The moment we got them and he placed them on his face, his eyes lit up! He could see the world again and enjoy his night. Mrs. Haynes went above and beyond and it brought tears to my eyes.
