MRS. TAYLOR McDANIEL'S NOMINATION:
Noah has been doing an amazing job this week helping his family with chores without a reminder. Every morning he's been waking up early, making his bed, packs his bag and lunch. He's been helping his mom out more with preparing meals for dinner and cleaning up. He is absolutely passionate about helping his family at home because he realizes his role to help others, a true team player!

Jerrica Holt exemplifies servant leadership in every sense of the word. On a rainy Wednesday morning, while most sought shelter from the downpour, Jerrica donned her rain gear, grabbed an umbrella, and stepped outside with a mission: to personally escort as many high school students as possible into the building. Despite being soaked, with water-filled boots and rain pouring around her, she never lost her smile. Her unwavering commitment to student safety and well-being, even in challenging conditions, is a testament to her dedication, compassion, and leadership.

Mrs. Castro has such a beautiful, generous,passionate heart for staff and students. She exemplifies the traits of a Brave at all times. She wears many hats every day, but does is it all with a generous heart. She keeps the paras in the loop of what is expected of us, fixes our time sheets (there's always some), helps keep everyone on task and organized, and does it all with a beautiful smile. She is always generous of her time and jumps in wherever and whenever needed and never complains. We are very blessed to have Mrs Castro here at Community ISD, but most of all I am personally thankful she choose Edge Middle School as her home as she bring joy to my day and so many others. True example of what it means to be a Brave.
