Parents are telling me their children are coming home happy and having a great start. Students are smiling, following systems, and happy to be here. Passionate

Why are you nominating this person?

Mrs. Harris is my daughter’s bus driver. My daughter is a new kindergartener at Ellis Elementary. My daughter was confused about her drop off location on the first day riding the bus home. Mrs. Harris made sure my daughter felt cared for and safe after my daughters cousins got off the bus at their stop (my daughters stop was a few stops after theirs). She made sure to inform me that my daughter was a little upset and explained to me what happened. Her passion for her job and the kids really made me feel comfortable leaving my daughter in her care on the bus. We need more Mrs. Harrises!

It is an honor to work alongside side our Passionate Police Department who work diligently to make sure our students, staff and community are safe. I personally see their daily attention making sure our campuses are properly secured. They are quick to respond to any urgent calls. The first week of school is always a hectic week. Traffic being a big part of it which included an unexpected accident within the district, a storm and stalled vehicles causing more traffic delay. The Chief, Sargents and Officers were quick to all work together making sure traffic was directed quickly in this hot August weather. They worked together getting our Elementary done, moving on to our Middle Schools and then all moving to the High School to make sure it all moved smoothly. Every day it was improved to get all students on their way home at a timely fashion. Keep up the great work and keep showing how Passionate you all are to our Brave Nation Community.

From day one, this new coaching staff has brought a fresh, united vision of “ONE TRIBE, ONE FAMILY” that is already transforming the program before the first game has even been played. They value every athlete, not just Varsity starters, and have met with parents one-on-one, building trust and collaboration. Head Coach Arteaga has especially shown that leadership is about service, making every athlete feel seen, heard, and important.
They show Generosity by investing in all players and treating everyone with respect. They display Passion by pushing athletes to grow while leading with love. They model Humility by putting players first, praising them, and focusing on “We before Me.” They demonstrate Wisdom by listening, knowing their athletes, and guiding them with care.
This staff is not just building better athletes they are building better young men and women. Their leadership, heart, and unity deserve to be recognized.
