Ms. Wilson and her theater students just wrapped up their second musical of the year. The Seussical production this weekend was absolutely AMAZING!!
I watched 7 of the 8 shows and it just kept getting better!! The acting, the vocals, the costume design, the set design, the tech production, the stage management....it was all so impressive! The seniors presented Ms. Wilson with the sweetest gift and could not even speak all the positive things because they were overcome with emotion. I am pretty sure there was not a dry eye in the place!! This is a testament to the heart and soul that Wilson pours into these kids!
To see the growth over the last 2 years of her being here, is quite astounding! She also recently hosted the UIL Bi-District competition for One Act Play for the first time and EVERYONE involved was so complimentary of Wilson and our kids!
They truly represented our district SO well! I am so thankful for Wilson and her commitment to growing the choir and theater programs!

This student embodies what it truly means to be a Brave through her generosity and heart for others. On her own initiative, she created personalized notes for every classmate, each one thoughtfully labeled with their name and the message, “You’re more than a score,” in preparation for the Math STAAR test. Her actions were not for recognition, but simply to lift up those around her during a potentially stressful time. This small but powerful gesture reflects both her humble spirit and her passion for encouraging others. She reminded her peers that they are valued far beyond a test score, creating a classroom environment filled with support, confidence, and kindness.

He's really energetic gives all his love and dope to his students.
He is a very supportive, sweet, funny and caring teacher + coach! He listens to people and knows when to make corrections! :) When he goes to our soccer games, he yells out our names and is legitimately the LOUDEST in the crowd. His celebrations when one of us scores is so funny. He is one of my favorite teachers + coaches I have ever had! He is also extremely relatable!

Mrs. Amy Miller is a passionate educator, and she's been a blessing in my son Easton's life ever since he was in the 3rd grade. Back then, in an entirely different school district, she was his teacher--during the craziness of the COVID year. She was kind, thoughtful and found a way to build strong bonds with her students.
This year, our Braves are blessed with her as a teacher at McClendon! When Easton thought of a teacher to honor at this year's Baseball Teacher Appreciation night, he chose Mrs. Miller! It was such a special night and a heartfelt way to show our love for this amazing teacher.

When Chassidy and I were in the hallway, a girl that we saw who was in the bathroom was crying, she was on her "monthly," and she needed shorts and other items that women need. Although I didn't have those things, Chassidy gave her the items and thanked her for her kindness. Chassidy was showing leadership and problem-solving strategies while also being kind. I adore her effort and hope she can get called.

Community Trails PTO is proud to nominate our incredible CTMS Coaching Staff! Our coaches stepped up in the most fun way possible, volunteering to be soaked & pied during our recent fundraiser. What could’ve been a simple event turned into an unforgettable experience for our students, all because of their willingness to jump in, be great sports, and bring the energy.
