Yesterday, Wednesday, April 22, Justin decided to pick up the trash in the Walmart parking lot and put it in the dumpster. He said it was Earth Day, and that we need to be aware that this is our only home and we must take care of it… although he does this all the time; he really cares about the environment.

Generous: Chevy helps others and gets involved in his studies and interactions with his classmates, teacher and support staff. He frequently holds the door for transport of wheelchair students and other students. He always shows to be happy to do so and frequently has a big smile on his face. Passionate and Wise: about the work he does not just with schoolwork but cleaning in the cafeteria and does not complain. Uses common sense when he cleans to keep cleanliness and safety in mind. Humble: He asks for help when he needs it and is not afraid to do so. Wants to learn.
Chevy transferred to community ISD this year. It is hard to transfer to another school when you have to start over, leave friends and unsure about making friends especially in Senior year but he adapted very easily and well. He is a pleasure to be around. Truly a Brave.
