Brave of the Week - Chase Price - January 19-23
Nomination from Mrs. Karli Nicholson, Community ISD Parent:
"Gosh where do I start?
Chase has come so far. Since he was a little boy he struggled with ADHD. I would get phone calls every day of something awful. He has grown so much this year, and in such a good way. He has listened more, become wise, and puts other before himself. I haven't gotten one bad phone call this year. I am so proud of the young man he is becoming.
I recently came across a Facebook post from another amazing mom. She posted about how chase stopped playing basketball with his friends and was helping her son with basketball. For about 30 minutes he was teaching this young boy. I am so so proud of you Chase!"
Don’t forget to nominate a Brave for next week's honors! We reveal our winner on the Community ISD Facebook page and here on our website every Thursday at 8 a.m.

CHS Freshman Girls Basketball Team

Nominator
Ashley Brouse
Which Trait was this person exhibiting?
Passionate
Why are you nominating this person?
As their coach, I couldn’t be prouder of our freshman girls' basketball team. At 15–0, their success goes far beyond the wins; it comes from how passionate they are about the game and about each other. They showed up every day willing to work, to learn, and to compete with heart, discipline, and unselfishness. Their passion fuels their defense, their teamwork, and their resilience, and it’s been a privilege to coach a group of young athletes who play the game the right way and represent our program with pride.
