Transportation Changes Coming in New School Year

Though the 2025-26 school year is still months away, we wanted to go ahead and let you know about a big change coming to Community ISD Transportation. We're letting you know about this change now so that everyone has time to make adjustments before school starts in August.

Starting on the first day of school next year, Community ISD buses will now operate on a three-tier bus schedule, with elementary opening the day, then middle school students being picked up and dropped off, and high school students closing out the transportation schedule. This change is being made to better accommodate growth in Community ISD, as it will provide our campuses and transportation staff with more flexibility. This change will also significantly reduce the amount of students on each bus as they complete their routes, allowing students to be more comfortable as they travel to and from campuses every day.

Below are the new operating hours of our campuses. More detailed schedules will be released as we get closer to the 2025-26 school year, and parents will be able to find their individual school bus pickup times after bus routes have been completed, which is usually 1-2 weeks before school starts.
