McDorman Named Associate Principal at CTMS

Mrs. Elizabeth McDorman was unanimously approved by the Community ISD Board of Trustees as the Associate Principal of Community Trails Middle School at regular monthly board meeting on April 15, 2024.

Mrs. McDorman comes to CISD from Garland ISD, where she most recently served as an assistant principal at Bussey Middle School. She has 12 years of experience in education, including teaching at the elementary and middle school level, as well as serving as a STEAM Coordinator, Department Chair, and Team Lead.

McDorman holds a Bachelors of Human Development and Family Science from Ohio State University, and a Masters of Educational Administration from Lamar University. She is currently working on a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Lamar University as well.
