McDorman, Green-Price Named to New Roles in 2025-26

On Monday, April 21, 2025, the CISD Board of Trustees, by unanimous vote, approved the following contracts for new administrators in the 2025-26 school year.

Elizabeth McDorman, Principal of Ellis Elementary

Though Mrs. McDorman has already been a Brave for one year, she will be moving to a new role in the 2025-26 school year, taking over as the Principal of Ellis Elementary.

She comes to Ellis after one year as the Associate Principal of Community Trails Middle School, and she has 13 years of experience in education overall. She holds a Masters in Education Administration from Lamar University, a Bachelors of Human Development & Family Science from Ohio State University, and expects to earn her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Lamar University in 2026.

Candy Green Price, Assistant Principal of Transportation

Brand new to Community ISD is Candy Green-Price, the new assistant principal of transportation. In this new role, Mrs. Green-Price will oversee discipline on all CISD buses.

She comes to Community ISD from Greenville ISD, where she was an assistant principal for two years. She has 19 years of experience in education, with stops in Duncanville ISD, McKinney ISD, and Dallas ISD as well.

Mrs. Green-Price holds a Masters in Elementary Education from East Texas A&M University (formerly Texas A&M University-Commerce), and a Bachelors of Political Science from ETAMU as well.
