Kinder and PreK Events Coming Soon!
Parents!
Our 2025-26 New Student Enrollment and Returning Student Registration will open on April 8th. There will be additional tiles to complete this year for all students as well, such as the Bus Rider Agreement tile, Immunization tile (grades KG and 7th only), and Drug Testing Consent tile (grades 6th-12th only).
This year, we will be offering our PreK Application online! This will open on May 1st. The PreK Application is ONLY an application, and does not mean your student will be automatically approved to begin PreK for the 2025-26 school year. You will receive a notification whether your child has been approved or if they have not been approved. The same required Texas qualifications are still in place and will be verified by district and campus staff. Please see below for more information about those requirements.

Enrollment Documents Needed:
- Proof of Residency

A utility bill with a date, within a month of enrollment, must be provided to the school the student is zoned to attend to prove residency in the attendance zone. In accordance with the Texas Education Agency, residency is not defined by an address on a driver’s license, a signature on a lease, or the address on a utility bill. These are indicators that may expedite verifying residency. CISD Board Policy also states that, "the District may investigate stated residency as necessary."
Utility bills include:
-
Water

Electric

Once you have completed the online registration form and uploaded the required documents, you will receive a confirmation email. Please note, however, that enrollment is not complete until the documentation is reviewed and processed by District staff. Community ISD will begin processing new Pre-K students in May, with the process continuing into the spring and summer in the order in which submissions are received. Parents will receive a welcome letter to the Brave Nation via email once their registration form has been processed and enrollment is complete. Elementary schools will begin communicating with families this spring in preparation for a successful transition into kindergarten.
