In line with the 2025 theme for Community ISD, this year's homecoming theme is "Operation Excellence - Mission Accepted, Victory Expected!"
Dress-Up Themes for the Week:
- Monday - Enlist in Spirit
- Military theme. Wear apparel honoring any of our military branches. Must be in dress code, and no toy guns are allowed!
- Tuesday - Troop Tuesday
- Twin (matching outfits) with your friends - must be in dress code!
- Wednesday - Camo vs. Couture
- G.I. Joe vs. Barbie - must be in dress code, and no toy guns are allowed!
- Thursday - Home of the Braves
- Wear Red, White, or Blue, patriotic apparel, or Braves gear - must be in dress code!

- Monday, September 8 - Homecoming Parade and Pep Rally - 7 pm - 9 pm - Braves Stadium - Pep Rally Brought to You by Kiss FM!
- Friday, September 12 - Varsity Volleyball Homecoming Match - CHS vs. Bonham - 4:30 pm - CHS Competition Gym
- Friday, September 12 - CHS Alumni Reception - 5:30 pm to 7 pm - Edge Middle School
- Friday, September 12 - Varsity Football Homecoming Game - CHS vs. Sanger - 7:30 pm - Braves Stadium
- Saturday, September 13 - Homecoming Dance - 7 pm to 10 pm - CHS Cafeteria - $30 pre-order (click here) or $50 at the door
PARADE DETAILS:
The theme for this year is "Operation Excellence". We encourage every float to be decorated in a military or patriotic theme, or stick with our school colors - Blue and Gold! The parade will run through the Nevada campuses of Community ISD, staying on District property the entire time and off of the public roads. This allows for better traffic management, and a safer parade route. The map below highlights the route the parade will take, and where Braves fans can set up their lawn chairs. The parade will start at 7 PM and will be immediately followed by a community wide pep rally in Braves Stadium. The event should conclude by approximately 9 PM.
