Homecoming 2023 - GLOW While We Grow

August 28-September 2, 2023

This year's homecoming theme is "G.L.O.W. While We Grow," embracing the fast growth of Brave Nation and determining to be our best selves every day! The four letters that make up G.L.O.W. stand for "Grow," "Lead," "Own," and "Win." We want to encourage our students, staff, and community members to embrace this theme and to live it out with us every day. It's also a great theme for a parade and dress up week!

• Monday - "Paint" the Panthers - NEON WARS
  • CHS
    • Seniors - Yellow
    • Juniors - Pink
    • Sophomores - Blue
    • Freshmen - Green
• Tuesday - Tropical Tuesday
• Wednesday - Waikiki Wednesday
• Thursday - Brave Nation Spirit Day - wear Blue and Gold from Head to Toe!
• Friday - NEON OUT at volleyball and football - NO SCHOOL

• Monday, August 28 - Homecoming Parade and Pep Rally - 7-9 pm - Nevada Campuses and Braves Stadium
• Friday, September 1 - Varsity Volleyball Homecoming Match - CHS vs. Edgewood - 4:30 pm - CHS Competition Gym
• Friday, September 1 - Varsity Football Homecoming Game - CHS vs. Paris North Lamar - 7:30 pm - Braves Stadium
• Saturday, September 2- CHS Homecoming Dance - 7-10 pm - CHS Courtyard and Cafeteria

PARADE DETAILS:
Every float can be decorated in neon or glow in the dark theme, or stick with our school colors - Blue and Gold! The parade will run through the Nevada campuses of Community ISD, staying on District property the entire time and off of the public roads. This allows for better traffic management, and a safer parade route. The map below highlights the route the parade will take, and where Braves fans can set up their lawn chairs. The parade will start at 7 PM and will be immediately followed by a community wide pep rally in Braves Stadium. The event should conclude by approximately 9 PM.
