Foster Elected, Saenz Re-Elected to CISD Board

After the canvassing of votes by the Community ISD Board of Trustees, Mrs. Jessica Foster took the Oath of Office for Place 2 on the CISD Board. Mrs. Foster was elected on May 4, 2024 by the voters of Brave Nation, taking the place of Vice President Mrs. Alicia Young, who retired from the Board after seven years of service.

Mr. Josh Saenz was re-elected to his post at Place 7, which he originally assumed in September 2023 by appointment. Mr. Saenz ran unopposed in his race.

With the change at Place 2, the Board undertook a re-organization after Mrs. Foster took the Oath of Office. Mr. Jeff Pendill, Master Trustee, retained his seat as President of the Board, Marc Stanfield (Place 4) was elected as the new Vice President. Jana Hunter (Place 5) was elected as the Secretary of the Board.
