Community ISD Receives TIA Validation

NEVADA, Texas - Community Independent School District is proud to announce that our district has officially been validated for the Texas Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA). This marks a significant milestone as we take important steps to recognize, reward, and retain our most effective teachers. With this achievement, we are now a fully approved TIA District. This validation reflects Brave Nation's commitment to strengthen instructional excellence and support our educators.
The next phase of this work involves the District completing a series of data verifications in partnership with the Texas Education Agency (TEA). These steps ensure accuracy and alignment as we move toward full implementation. The TIA designation will be applied to the teacher’s State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC) for five years starting in 2026-27, and comes with state-funded stipends allocated based on designation level and socioeconomic factors at their respective campus.
The three levels of distinction for the TIA are Recognized, Exemplary, and Masters.
We are grateful for the dedication of our teachers, campus leaders, and district staff who contributed to this process. This accomplishment positions our district to continue investing in high-quality instruction and long-term teacher success. Brave Nation believes in recruiting and retaining the best educators, and this is a significant step towards that goal.
More details will be shared as we progress through the next steps, and individual educators who have received a distinction will be notified once the next steps are complete.
