Community ISD Partners with My Ride K-12 for Bus Tracking

Community ISD is proud to announce a new partnership with the My Ride K-12 app and online platform to help families easily access their child's bus schedule and stop information. With My Ride K-12, you can view pick-up and drop-off times, track bus locations in real time, and receive important updates—all from your phone or computer. This tool helps ensure a smooth and informed transportation experience for students and parents alike.

The My Ride K-12 platform also enables the Community ISD Transportation Department to communicate directly with families about delays, route changes, or other important transportation updates - eliminating the email updates sent to all parents about any delays or changes.

How to Access My Ride K-12 Website

Using the Chrome or Firefox browser, go to: My Ride K-12 Website
If you do not already have a registered email, click “Register.”
To register, enter your email address, create a password, and enter your name.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email. Click the link in your email to confirm your registration through the My Ride K-12 website.
Log in, then go to “My Students” and click the “Find Student” button.
Enter your student’s ID number and birthdate to link their information. Repeat this step to add additional students. If you need assistance, please contact your campus.
Once linked, click on the student’s profile to view bus number, pick-up/drop-off locations, and times.
To share a student’s transportation info with another person, select the student and click the options button in the lower-right corner.
Choose which student(s) to share and enter the recipient’s email address. They will receive a confirmation email and must register with My Ride K-12 to access the information.

How to Access My Ride K-12 App

Download “My Ride K-12” from the Google Play Store (Click here) or the Apple App Store (Click here).
After the app installation is complete, open My Ride K-12.
When prompted to find your school district, search for Community ISD. If you need assistance, please come see the Transportation Help booth at the 2025 Back to School Bash on Monday, August 4. After the Bash takes place, please contact your campus for assistance.
Once you have selected the district, you will proceed to the login page. If you do not already have a registered email, click “Register.”
To register, enter your email address, create a password, and enter your name.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email. Click the link in your email to confirm your registration.
Log in, then go to “My Students” and tap the “ ” button to find a student.
Enter your student’s ID number and birthdate to link them. Repeat to add more students. For help, contact your campus or email skyward.help@communityisd.org.
Once linked, click on the student’s profile to view bus number, pick-up/drop-off locations, and times.
To share a student’s transportation info, tap the “Share” button, then enter the email of the person you want to share with. They will receive a confirmation email and must register with My Ride K-12 to access the student’s information.
Regularly check for app updates to ensure you’re using the latest version.
Stay logged in to receive district transportation notifications, even when the app is not actively running.
