Brinkley Promoted to Director Role

NEVADA, Texas - Mr. Michael Brinkley was promoted to the role of Director of Student Services and Counseling on Tuesday, July 14. He moves into the new position after two years as the principal of The Braves Center, Community Independent School District's Disciplinary Alternative Education Programs (DAEP) services center and the home of The Gold Feather Academy, Community ISD’s Early Graduation facility.
Mr. Brinkley has 30 years of experience in education including 12 as a campus administrator. He holds a Bachelors of Arts in Speech Communications from Stephen F. Austin University, a Masters of Educational Leadership from SFA, and a Masters of Arts in School Counseling from the University of Texas-Tyler.
Mr. Brinkley's promotion will open a principalship at The Braves Center. The District looks forward to finding the next leader of The Braves Center soon!
