Board Approves 2025-26 Compensation Plan for All Staff
The CISD Board of Trustees, by unanimous vote, approved the 2025-26 compensation plan as presented. These changes meet the requirements of House Bill 2 from the 89th Legislative session.
The new compensation plan includes the following:
- $1,170,000 Increase to teacher pay scale in amount
- Teachers 3-4 years of experience: $2,500
- Teachers 5+ years of experience: $5,000
- $220,277 total increase to non-administrator pay
- Child Nutrition, paraprofessionals, bus drivers/monitors, clerks, LVNs, Maintenance/Grounds, Campus Techs, Specialists, and Administrative Assistants: $2,250
- RNs, Officers/Sergeants, Mechanics, Instructional & Behavioral Coaches, Assistant Directors, Coordinators, Counselors, Trainers, Tech Administrators, Diags/LSSPs/LSPs, and Assistant Principals: $1,750
- Teachers 0-2 years of Experience, Non-CDL Drivers, Principals, and Central Administration: $1,250
- Stipend Adjustments
- B/G Coordinator, Athletic Trainer, Behavior Coach
- Blue Club Site Coordinator
- CDL for extra-curricular activities
- Maintenance Department (Backflow, IPM, Irrigation)
- Student Worker / Crossing Guard
- Raised to $12 per hour
- Raised to $12 per hour
- Per trip for Coach/Sponsor raised to $40
