Braves Reveal 2026 Varsity Football Schedule

The 2026 football season is a little over four months away, but excitement for Community High School's first season in 5A-Division II starts right now!
Head Coach Adam Arteaga and Director of Athletics Paul R. Sharr have worked hard to secure a fantastic six-game home schedule, including an entire month at home in September.
The season begins with a scrimmage at Prosper Richland on August 20, and the regular season opens August 28 at Frisco Liberty. The game will take place at Toyota Stadium, one of the "base camp" sites for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the home stadium of FC Dallas.
Our home opener is September 4 against South Garland, helmed by former CHS offensive coordinator and 2005 BCS champion Antwaun Hobbs. September 4 will also be CISD Youth Night.
Week three brings Frisco Centennial to town in the Salute to Service game, played on the 25th Anniversary of September 11, 2001.
Azle comes to Braves Stadium on September 18 for Community ISD's homecoming game. Homecoming week will start with our annual parade on Monday, September 14, and include spirit events each day through Friday. As always, the Community Education Foundation will host an alumni reception a few hours before the kickoff of the varsity football game on Friday.
September wraps up with our first 5A District game in the history of the program, a home game against Eagle Mountain High School. This game will also be Senior Night for all programs involved in football game days (football, band, cheer, drill team, athletic training, and the Community Braves Network). Coverage of this game on our network will start early to make sure all senior families can see their students walk on Senior Day, September 25.
The Braves open October on the road at Lovejoy High School on October 2, then return home for the Pink Out game on October 9 against The Colony High School. An October 16 game vs. Colleyville Heritage at Mustang-Panther Stadium is the last of eight consecutive games before a Week 9 bye, and the Braves will close October at home against Argyle on October 30.
The regular season concludes at Grapevine High School on November 6, the second of two games played by the Braves at Mustang-Panther Stadium.
