Our 2nd Carnival for the Classroom will take place on Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM at Community High School.
At the End of Year Celebration in May 2023, the Education Foundation had the pleasure of awarding $42,622 in grants to Community Independent School District for a record-breaking grant cycle!

The Foundation was able to fund 24 grants across the district on all six campuses (Including our newest campus, Dodson Elementary)!
If you joined the Once a Brave, Always a Brave Club, supported Braves Steak & $5K, donated through Employee Giving, or gave in any other way--YOU helped make this happen! None of this would be possible without the generous support of our donors. Thank you for investing in our students and helping ensure they have the best possible education.

$14,100 was awarded to the graduating class of 2023.
The Foundation had the honor to present 18 scholarships totaling $14,100 to our graduating seniors at this year's Senior Awards night!
The Education Foundation presented a Once a Brave, Always a Brave Scholarship totaling $4,000 to five students that exhibit the Traits of a Brave.

The Secily Lackey Cosmetology Endowment Funded 7 kits for CHS students for the 2023-2023 school year!
On May 10, 2023, the foundation had the honor of presenting 7 students with scholarships from the Secily Lackey Cosmetology Endowment. The Secily Lackey Cosmetology Grant provides deserving CISD cosmetology students with assistance in securing their cosmetology kits. Through this grant, Secily's family hopes her passions will be lived out through others, and those individuals will pay their blessings forward, keeping Secily's legacy alive.
