Mark Webb
Mark Webb was born on August 14, 1948 to Bert and Betty Webb in McKinney, Texas. He attended Community Rural School District (CRSD) all 12 years and developed his athletic, academic, music, and leadership skills. While at Community, Mr. Webb earned a spot at the National Science Foundation Summer Math Institute. He graduated from Community Rural High School in 1966 as the valedictorian.
Mr. Webb went on to attend Rice University and received his Bachelor's in 1971. While in school at Rice, he entered the ministry and became a youth minister in Lancaster, Texas. He received his first pastorate in 1972 at Evanston Baptist Church of Evanston, Wyoming, where he served until 1981. He started a new church in Nashville, Tennessee, and pastored there from 1983 to 1988, then from 1988 to 2018 he served as pastor of Grace Bible Church in Olive Branch, Mississippi. In total, Mr. Webb served 47 years in the ministry.
After retiring from his role as a pastor, Mr. Webb has served as a missionary at the Mexican Indian Training Center in Mexico, and as a regarded conference speaker. He married Linda Elliott in 1968 and the couple had three children and nine grandchildren before Linda passed in 2014. He then married Paula Frisbey, and the couple spends half of the year in Wyoming and the other half in Olive Branch, Mississippi.
