Mrs. Kenda Willingham
Mrs. Willingham is currently serving in her 23rd year in education. She holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education and master's in education administration from Texas A&M University in Commerce. Prior to coming to Community ISD, Mrs. Willingham taught at the elementary and middle school levels in Cooper ISD and Garland ISD. She served as campus principal Garland ISD for 13 years and in Chapel Hill ISD for another two years before coming to Community ISD.
Mrs. Willingham is excited to serve the district in this new capacity and she is looking forward to expanding the opportunities for college & career exploration and enrichment for all students. "I believe that a comprehensive and high-quality college and career readiness program will engage our students in real-world learning and prepare them with skills and abilities they will need to be successful in a university or college setting, and/or in high-demand career fields," she said.

The College & Career Readiness Center is located in Community High School. Please feel free to stop in any time for resources for parents and students relating to postsecondary education and/or career options.
CISD is building a new high school with plans to open in the fall of 2020. We appreciate the involvement and feedback from students, parents, and the entire community as we work together to provide opportunities for students.
