Title I, Part A of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act was created to enable schools to provide opportunities for children served to acquire the knowledge and skills contained in the challenging state content standards and to meet the challenging state performance standards developed for all children.
To accomplish these goals, Title I, Part A provides districts with funding for supplemental education programs, school-wide programs, and programs to increase staff development and parental involvement.
The district is required to provide Title I, Part A services to any private school or facilities for the neglected or delinquent located within the district's boundaries if such services are needed and requested.
Any private school, including home schools, or facilities for the neglected or delinquent located in the Community Independent School District who wishes to request services of the Title I, Part A program should contact
