PHIL SMITH:
Mr. Smith is a 1985 graduate of the
Community Independent School District. He has served for 12 years on
the CISD School Board. His occupation is full-time rancher. His
philosophy/ goal for our district is to see that every student,
teacher, office personnel, administration staff, all employees, and
parents are treated with respect and consideration... not as just a
number.

MICHEAL WALLS: Mr. Walls is a Lending Protection
Manager for CUNA Mutual Group. He graduated with the 1995 class of
Community High School. His philosophy and goal for CISD is to
promote the district in a positive manner and provide the best
possible opportunities for all students.

LETA CORNELIUS: Mrs. Cornelius is a 1974 graduate of the Community Independent School District. She has a Masters of Science in Education. She has served for 8 years on the CISD School Board. Her occupation is Curriculum Coordinator in Business and Technology Education. Her philosophy/ goal for our district is providing the students of CISD the opportunity for a quality education, so they are academically equipped to successfully enter the workforce or pursue additional education after graduation from high school.

- MARC STANFIELD:
- Project Manager/Senior Estimator at Riggins Moreland
Engineering. Graduate of Coppell High School. He wants to
promote the school district in a positive manner, promote school
spirit, and assist in the construction of the new facilities we
will be building in the future.

DAMON SAMS: Mr. Sams is a 1983 graduate of Wylie Independent School District. He has a BAIS from Columbia College in Columbia, Missouri. He has just become a CISD School Board member in 2005. His occupation is United States Navy from 1986-1999 and is currently an ISC PIM Supervisor for State Farm Insurance in Irving, Texas. His philosophy/ goal for our district is to assist in the preparation of our schools for future population growth and to help prepare our kids to meet the challenges of the future. |

PAUL TALLANT:
Mr. Paul Tallant is a 1985 graduate of Wylie Independent School District. He graduated in 1989 from Texas Tech University. He has served for 2 years on the CISD School Board. His occupation is Director of Marketing for DCS. His philosophy/ goal for our district is to help contribute to the kids of CISD to ensure equality education, while being a good steward of the tax payer's money. |

JAY PRICE: Mr. Price is a 1992 graduate of Quinlan Ford High School
in Quinlan. He has a BS in Mathematics from Texas A&M in Commerce (1999).
His philosophy/ goal for our district is to help create a positive learning
environment and to increase community involvement. |
