Let's hear it for dinner!

 

For several years, research and teen surveys have consistently revealed the more often children eat dinner with their parents, the less likely they are to smoke, drink or use illegal drugs. Why? What's the connection?

 

Sharing a meal together is  a time to sit and talk about the day and what's going on in each other's lives. It's a time to connect and care, something so many young people miss these days.  Family dinners are a great way to put parent power to work.
