"Ludo Ergo Cogiti. Cogiti Ergo Sum."

I play therefore I think. I think therefore I am.

As a believer in the power of cognitive and social play as a tool to both learn and teach a wide variety of skills, Mr. Fields hosts the CHS Ludarian Society weekly in his classroom (B-112).  During these meetings, students are given access to Mr. Fields' personal library of board games. While the overall society is informal, Mr. Fields will seek out opportunities to lead small groups of students in discussions on topics such as game design, fair play, and strategy. Meetings begin immediately after school, and no games will be started after 5:15.
