Meet the Team

The school nurse today does so much more than distribute bandages and check for head lice. Health services include preventative health screenings, maintaining immunization records, treatment for common problems such as earaches, sore throats, skin rashes, and therapy for chronic problems like asthma or diabetes. Providing health education to students, staff and referring them to specialized agencies is a vital part of school health management.
