Science Night March 11 6-7:30 pm Volcano, Solar System, Atom Model Competition
On March 11, 2008, Community Middle School will host a Science Fair. 5th graders will be required to participate. You must choose to make a model of one of the following: an active volcano, the solar system, or an atom. You must submit your choice to me by Wednesday, January 23rd. Once you have made your decision, you are stuck with it. No changing your mind. Read the rules and directions below to get started. You MUST have a parent’s supervision when making the models. You will be required to submit information about your project at set times before the project is due. We will schedule days to go to the library to do research for your project. Below is a schedule of assignments and when they are due. January 23 – Submit Science Project choice to Mrs. Pullen. February 14 – Submit list of supplies that you will need for your project February 28 – Submit detailed plan on how you are going to do your project March 11 – Science Night 6-7:30pm
Students will submit their model to Mrs. Pullen during their class period on March 11. No entries will be accepted after this time! IF YOU ARE ABSENT, A PARENT MAY BRING IT UP ANY TIME BEFORE 3:00 THAT DAY. ABSENCE DOES NOT EXCUSE YOU FROM HAVING AN ENTRY. |
