Citizens Bond Advisory Council
Community ISD recognizes the importance of community involvement and is, once again, asking for your input by participating in Citizens Bond Advisory Council (BAC).
Community ISD seeks to involve our citizens as we implement the 2017 Bond Program approved by voters on November 7, 2017. BAC membership is open to those in Community ISD who are parents, residents, district employees, business leaders, community leaders, and students. Members must commit to attending all quarterly meetings, the first being held on Saturday, January 27, 2018, from 9 - 10:30 AM, and reviewing all reports and updates provided. The BAC will elect a chairperson or chairpersons who will provide an annual report to the Board of Trustees.
The BAC will be responsible for:
- Reviewing the financial status of the voter-approved 2017 bond program through periodic financial reports such as financial statements, investments reports, budget amendments, approved bid awards, related debt, and other related reports
- Reporting on the progress, efficiency and accountability of voter-approved capital projects
- Providing input and feedback to CISD throughout implementation of the bond program
