    Class of 2017 Valedictorian Logan Bruffett

    Logan is the daughter of Lynda and John Bruffett. She has attended Community ISD since the 8th grade. Her older sister Lauryn graduated from Community High School is 2015 and her younger brother Ben is a Freshman at CHS. Logan will be attending the University of North Texas on a soccer scholarship. She will enroll in UNT with 36 college credit hours earned through dual-credit classes at CHS. She plans to major in biochemistry with minor in psychology and hopes to continue on to graduate program and become a Physician’s Assistant.

    Class of 2017 Salutatorian Jennifer Arnold

    Jennifer is the daughter of Donna and Jeff Bass. She has a younger sister, Angelina who is a Freshman at CHS. Jennifer has attended CISD since she was in the 6th grade. Jennifer will be attending the University of North Texas and plans to major in Interdisciplinary studies and plans to become a teacher.

    Victoria is the daughter of Tammy and David Walker. She began attending Community ISD in Kindergarten and will be attending Texas A&M University in College Station this fall. She was awarded the prestigious Terry Foundation Scholarship and plans to major in Business Administration and Sports Management. Victoria’s goal is to become a sports agent.

    Holden has attended Community ISD since Kindergarten. His parents are Claude and Cynthia Michael and he has an older brother who also graduated from CHS. Holden will be attending Harding University next year and was awarded the Harding’s Academic Honors Scholarship. He plans to major in Computer Science with a possible double major of Math or Business Finance.

She will be attending the University of Texas at Austin to major in Pre-Optometry with plans to become an Optometrist and own her own practice.

    Brandon’s parents are Steven Wofford & Cilicia Wofford. He has attended Community ISD since Kindergarten and has siblings currently in 7th and 9th grade. Brandon will be attending Texas A&M University to major in Aerospace Engineering. He wants to design and model aircraft and spacecraft with a company like Boeing, Lockheed, or NASA.

She plans to attend Oklahoma State University and is the recipient of an Academic Excellence Scholarship, Gravelle Scholarship and CEAT Dean’s Award for Engineering Scholarship. She plans to major in Mechanical Engineering and become an Engineer.

    Brooklyn’s mother and stepfather are Sara Shakeri and Billy Hogan. Her dad and stepmother are Sammy and Julie Platter. She has two siblings who are also seniors at CHS, her twin sister Bayleigh Platter and stepbrother Bailey Hogan. Brooklyn came to the Brave Nation as a Freshman. She plans to attend Hardin-Simmons University in the fall on the President’s Scholarship. She wants to major in pre-med and become an Ophthalmologist.

She will be attending Oklahoma Baptist University on academic and theatre scholarships. She plans to double major in Theater and Ministry and wants to become a youth pastor and worship leader.
