Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Courtney Hacking
I am starting my third year teaching in Community ISD as a third grade ELAR and Social Studies teacher at McClendon Elementary. My teaching career began in Dallas, where I taught 3rd and 1st grade. I recevied my Bachelor's Degree from Texas A&M Commerce in Elementary Education.
When we moved to Nevada, my children started school in Community ISD and it was the feeling from the staff and community that made me want to work in this district. We are proud to be Braves, with 2 children at Edge Middle School and 2 children at McClendon Elementary. My love for teaching started when my oldest son started asking to learn. It was the little things from teaching him his colors and letters, and going up to teaching him how to count and write. Watching him learn, and the excitement on his face when he did, created my love for teaching.
I am available for conferences on Monday and Friday from 12:45-1:45 or anytime afterschool by appointment. Please feel free to email me or call to set up a conference.
