NOTICE OF DEADLINE TO FILE APPLICATIONS FOR SCHOOL TRUSTEE ELECTIONS (information)
Dr. Bud Nauyokas, Superintendent of Community ISD, announced Monday that a hearing on the District’s annual report for 2008-2009, including the Academic Excellence Indicator System Report as prepared by the Texas Education Agency and a report on violent and criminal incidents at the school, is scheduled for Monday, February 22, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. in the district’s Technology and Conference Center located at 615 FM 1138 North in Nevada. The report will be presented for public discussion during the regular meeting of the Board of Trustees. UIL alignments have been released for the 2010-11 and 2011-12 school years and the following school districts will be in our alignment - District 11-3A: Farmersville, Frisco Lone Star, Lucas Lovejoy, Community, Princeton, Prosper

The Community Band Boosters are having a Dallas Stars Community ISD Night on March 4, 2010. Attached is the flyer to order tickets up to a 65% savings off the price at the gate (Upper Level $60 tickets are selling for a mere $20! And Lower Level $75 tickets are selling for $45.) Community ISD will be recognized via JumboTron (and it is a huge HD JumboTron) at the game during intermission. Be there to cheer for your school and the Dallas Stars! FLYER
